Adetokunbo Wahab is the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Education. In a recent interview, he highlighted the efforts his office has made to ensure that it puts education on a good pedestal through investment in information technology and partnership with other government agencies. He said with consistency and eyes on the goals, and the result would transform the country’s economy.

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly has urged the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to work more on policies to bring more dividends of democracy to the people of the State.

Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, edged out his co-star on the global smash hit “Essence”, and first time EMAs nominee, Tems (Nigeria), as well as other African superstars – Focalistic (South Africa), Amaarae (Ghana) and Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania) to emerge winner of the Best African Act category. The epic event, which aired on MTV in 180 countries, featured electrifying performances from today’s hottest stars and honored some of the world’s biggest artists while also celebrating music, love and equality.

Another World Kindness Day, marked globally on 13th November, is here. Not as the lone day reserved for humanity to show kindness, but, according to www.inspirekindness.com, a day to remind humanity “of the importance of being kind” and this is about being kind on a daily and ongoing basis. It continues: “the purpose of [the] day… is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. This understanding has the power to bridge the gap between nations.” Inspire Kindness shares the theme for this year’s World Kindness Day as: “The world we make – inspire kindness.”
