Billionaire drug baron behind the N3billion Tramadol deal involving the embattled suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari-led Intelligence Response Team, IRT, Chief Afam Mallinson Emmanuel Ukatu has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Abba Kyari, the detained and suspended deputy commissioner of Police, has asked a Federal High Court in Abuja to release him from the custody of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on health grounds. The embattled cop had sued the Federal Government before the court challenging his continued detention by the NDLEA.

Police investigations have revealed how members of a syndicate led by international scammer, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi paid N235, 120, 000 to a younger brother of a former Commander, Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari
