Not as the lone day reserved for humanity to show kindness, but, according to www.inspirekindness.com, a day to remind humanity “of the importance of being kind” and this is about being kind on a daily and ongoing basis. It continues: “the purpose of [the] day… is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. This understanding has the power to bridge the gap between nations.” Inspire Kindness shares the theme for this year’s World Kindness Day as: “The world we make – inspire kindness.”
