The Lagos State House of Assembly has said there should not be any contention over the steps being taken by the State Government following the crisis currently rocking the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

Following unresolved differences, Lagos council of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, led by Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called “MC Oluomo” has broken away from the National body of the union.

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has suspended Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as Mc Oluomo, the Lagos State chapter’s Chairman, indefinitely over alleged misconduct, insubordination, and incitation of members of the state chapter against the apex body.
