According to the letter signed on Friday by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the appointment took effect from Thursday, August 6.
“I am pleased to inform you that Muhammadu Buhari, President, Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved your appointment as Part-Time Chairman of the Governing Board of Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority, Sokoto with effect from 6th August 2020.
“This appointment is at the discretion of Mr President and the allowances attached to your appointment are provided under the Category ‘B’ of Federal Government Agencies and statutory Corporations as specified in the circular Ref. No. SWC/S/04/S.310/T/65 of 8th April 2016,” the statement referred to Mr Danbaba read.
Mr Danbaba is the Magajin Garin of Sokoto.
