On Monday, 4 April, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, revealed that security agencies are fighting unconventional warfare as insecurity in the country rises. This assertion was made by Mohammed on a TVC program, while clarifying that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is not overwhelmed by the country's security challenges. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo stated on Sunday that Nigeria's current security challenges have overwhelmed President Buhari's administration. President Muhammadu Buhari has spoken out about the crisis engulfing the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Punch, the president warned APC leaders and members to stop name-calling and backstabbing in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Garba Shehu. He stated once more that the party's national convention would be held on March 26.
