Reality TV star CeeC has revealed that many fans misinterpret her confidence as arrogance, saying this misconception has affected her brand and public image.
Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, CeeC highlighted challenges of public perception in Nigeria, noting that people often accept negative labels without personal experience. “A lot of people see my confidence as being arrogant,” she said, explaining that judgments are frequently formed before fans meet her.
CeeC added that encountering her in person changes opinions.
“If you cannot meet me or experience me as a person, and go home and say I’m arrogant, you would definitely have a change of mindset,” she said, stressing that she actively tries to give people a better understanding when they interact with her.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate admitted that these misunderstandings have cost her personally and professionally.
“It has, but one thing that I’ve tried to do is make sure that when you meet me, you will not go home feeling that way,” she said.
CeeC’s comments come amid her continued efforts to shape her public image and connect with fans beyond social media impressions
