The bank designed #DecemberIssaVybe and #FirstBankIssaVybe campaign as a concept of giveaway fest for their esteeming customers and fun-seekers with the aim of a creating fascinating and memorable experience for them during the yuletide season as they bond with family and friends, whilst connecting with their favourite superstars.
Speaking on this, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, FirstBank Ms. Folake Ani-Mumuney said, "As a Bank woven into the fabric of society, we have ensured that the events are spread across the country and there is an event for everyone, irrespective of age and we are delighted to be back with DecemberIssaVybe. The 2021 edition is enriched with loads of impactful and celebratory activities to build the excitement of witnessing the year-end as we celebrate into 2022."
At one of the most anticipated events; which the bank partner with was the 'A Decade of Davido' Concert held at Eko Convention Centre organized by Flytime Entertainment. The musical concert ably organized to celebrate 10 years achievement of Nigerian-American pop singer, Prince David Adeleke widely known as Davido had several of artistes including Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Naira Marley, and Tiwa Savage amongst others performing to a multitude at the Eko Hotel convention centre.
Notable personalitie at the DecemberissaVybe fiesta include His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, football star Austin Jay Jay Okocha and actress cum producer, Eniola, Badmus.
Another well-attended event, was the Africa Giant, Burna Boy's concert tagged Burna Boy: The Live Experience' which the bank ably partnered. The concert gave many of its attendees and fun-seekers an unforgettable experience as they were thrilled with his Afrobeat tunes as he elegantly showed off the richness of African tradition.
One of the fun-seeker, Sylvester Oluwabunmi, a banker who was opportuned to benefit from the social media giveaway, said December was truly a Vybe, as he and his friends enjoyed the night with Burna Boy's 3-hour long with Africa vibes. According to him, the Grammy award winner gave a sterling performance along with African collaborators, Black Sherif and the Yaba Buluku' singers on stage to perform with him.
In his words, he said "#FirstBankIssaVybe is a good concepts by the bank to enjoy the yuletide festive with love ones, my friend Akin, a customer with FirstBank, introduce me to the campaign and I'm glad to experience #DecemberIssaVybe and Bucna Boy The Live Esperience' is my best moment to close the 2021 as a bank worker.”
Speaking on Burna Boy's concert as one of the events lined up for campaign, Mrs. Folake Ani-Mumuney, continued that, "We remain committed through resourceful partnerships to nation building, empowering all including the youth to achieve their dreams as these events promote the continued growth of the entertainment industry, unarguably an economic game-changer in the global business landscape, especially a country like ours that is blessed with talents and amazing creative minds," she concluded.
Other events partnered by First Bank is Mamma Mia, The Smash Hit Musical; a 65 member (All Nigerian) cast and crew licensed adaptation of the global show live in Lagos began successfully on Wednesday, December 30, 2021 and continues till January 2, 2022 while King of Comedy, Ali Baba's January 1st show is also lined up to watch this holiday.
Since inception of the campaign, FirstBank's #DecemberIssaVrbe has been making waves across the cities in the country and Nigerians with over 50 entertainment events proudly supported since bank started in 2018.
