Ikpeazu named the State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe as the Chairman of the committee.
Other members of the committee included Izuchi Nwosu, Chiazo Chinedu, Okechukwu Ndukwe and Iheanyi Ubani, Mni.
According to the Government’s release, “Details of the terms of reference will be given to the members during the inauguration of the committee on Tuesday.
In another development, the governor has received three Ambulances from BUA Groups as part of its support for the fight against COVID-19 disease.
Receiving the vehicles in Government House Umuahia, Monday, the Governor disclosed that Abia State has started community testing of COVID-19 in all the Local Government Areas in the State with a view to covering at least 30% of the population.
He informed that two more laboratories would soon be set up at Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia and the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, adding that the idea is to have at least six molecular laboratories in the State in the near future.
Presenting the vehicles earlier, the representative of the Chairman of BUA Group, Alhaji Muhammed Ibrahim, said as part of corporate responsibilities of the group, it decided to partner the Federal government and States to support the fight against COVID-19.
